Currently reading…

My 2016 goal was to start reading more. I’ve always enjoyed relaxing on the couch with a good book but never had enough time. I decided it was time to put the phone down and pick up the ole paperback. First thing I did was download the app Good Reads. This app  helps you find new books by browsing personalized recommendations based on books you’ve read and your favorite genres. It also allows you to rate & track books you’ve read and those you would like to read in the future. I also recently started following BlissBeautyBooks on Instagram and enjoy reading her reviews/recommendations. If you are trying to read more like me you know this hobby can get costly. This past weekend I decided to browse a used book store and found several of my favorites half priced. I also brought in several books to sell which made my purchase almost free. Most people only read a book once or twice so this is a smart way to save some money while getting a (almost) brand new book! Insert cheesy quote here:  “One man’s trash is another’s treasure.”

Below are some of my recent favorites along with some I have on my “to read” list. Please feel free to comment with any  of your recommendations!
